Records Management

This section manages the base Records Management Program providing oversight and training for proper maintenance, protection and disposition of official records regardless of media and manages the base staging area by providing storage, destruction or shipment of inactive official records.

It implements and maintains the Records Information Management System (RIMS). It tests, provides technical support, and provides training with RIMS software to Functional Area Records Managers (FARMs).

It also schedules and performs site assistance visits (SAV) to FARMs and Records Technicians (RT).
