Transfer Center
This
section provides services for receiving, processing, distributing,
and dispatching official mail, accountable mail, administrative
communications, forms, publications, parcels, and distribution
for all base-supported activities.
It offers
full services for all Kirtland AFB units except for the
Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) in conjunction with
the United States Postal Service (USPS) and private small
parcel delivery companies.
It also
provides technical support to official activities on the
installation on the correct procedures for sending official
mail, and provide guidance to customers in developing mail
products to ensure cost effective mailing practices are
used.
In addition,
it provides services for receiving, processing, distributing,
forwarding directory service and providing mail service
to all military personnel supported by the Postal Service
Center (PSC).
